Governance and CommunityDAO Structure

DAO Structure

The OpenX Network DAO is currently in it’s first stage where token holders can influence the future of the project. The DAO does not use direct on-chain execution, nor does it hold any on-chain assets or permissions. This is a safety feature, until the token has proven to be mature enough, gradually more and more will be granted to the DAO.

Voting power

Voting power on proposals scales is equal to the amount of OPENX tokens your address got delegated at proposal creation time (snapshot block). Any balance or delegation changes during the proposal will not be reflected.

Proposal pass requirement

For a proposal to pass, it has to have more YES votes than NO votes (>50%). Votes are measured in terms of voting power, not on a per account basis.

Governance framework

The first DAO governance framework will be voted on 24h after all token holders have had a change to delegate their voting power. Any new governance framework should follow the current version to be voted in. The latest passed governance framework proposal will be added here.
